A Triple Yellow GT Premium, to be exact. With a $46k MSRP (owie) and the most uncomfortable seats ever (Recaros). But, it’s got three pedals and a 3.73 axle so nobody’s bitching. I haven’t had a chance to putz with the TrackApps feature, but that will be for another day with dry roads. I’m having hallucinations about swapping the powertrain into my Town Car. Somebody please stop me.

You can buy crate motors from Ford Performance for the Town Car... I strongly considered breaking the bank and getting a Coyote 5.0 for my old Volvo wagon before I sold it.

Trick Flow heads with hotter cams will get me up to 380hp for about $2700. Mod motors ain’t cheap to tweak..

I’m really tempted to get a V6 / 6 speed as a second car, but my wife is very unaccepting of the idea of a two door - even though our kid will soon be old enough to get in and buckle himself in

Well, sure, if you want to be practical and economical about it...

I'd love to cram the latest GT500 powertrain in a Panther. 662hp, mmmmmm.

Ouch, most GT’s are selling for under sticker around me. Sweet ride though, loving that color. First I've seen of it!

Ford seems to be having a hard time making/finding good seats, but that is still one nice ride - talk about ticking all the oppo options on the order list. A Coyote Town Car will happen, (if it hasn’t already.) Throw in some suspension and steering upgrades and it would make one heck of a nice stealthy “eat of up long distances at a fast pace” car.

The seats are made by Recaro, not Ford. The base buckets seem fine for most people.

What don't you like about the Recaros? I searched around to find a 'Stang with them so I could check them out and they're the best seats in Ford's lineup IMO. (Note: the Recaros in the FoST and FiST are just branded seats and THEY are terrible...but the 'Stang seats are real and great).
